John Mulligan - Advisor

John is the President and Founder of Retirement Plan Strategies (RPS), a defined contribution pension plan advisory and services company. RPS provides services to the provider community that range from strategic business planning to developing marketing plans, product development, systems implementation and resourcing strategies.

Prior to joining State Street in 1985, his entire career has been in strategic marketing, sales management and sales roles in high growth business lines. John is a part of Congruent's strategic think-tank that is responsible for creating a number of breakthrough concepts in retirement services delivery.

John is a frequent speaker and contributor to industry seminars and has been published or quoted extensively in Barrons, The Wall Street Journal, Institutional Investor, Pensions & Investments, Plan Sponsor, Bank Management, Business Week, Pension World and other business publications. He is a 1968 graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy and has earned an MBA from Emory University.
